Kindly let me no the difference between MDMP and Single code page systems

Making more simple
Single codepage = SAP system have one set of characters installed. E.g. all the characters used in the English language.
MDMP = SAP system has several sets of characters installed. E.g all characters for English, Russian and Greek.
MDMP is not supported by SAP anymore. If you need more than one character set in your system, you must go for unicode.
SAP actually recommends unicode for all new installations

Single code page is Unicode whereas MDMP is nonunicode.At present Sap is cuming default with Single code page(unicode).
Single code page is set of one characters(english).MDMP is set of several languages.
