EP6 Installation Error

Hi,

I'm installing EP6 SP9. I installed Oracle 9.2 and applied patch 9.2.6.0. While installing WebAS6.4 the installation stopped at Phase 9 of 33 which is "Create Oracle Database". The error message is

<b>ERROR 2006-05-17 10:55:01

CJS-00084 SQL statement or script failed. DIAGNOSIS: Error message: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges</b>

Could anyone please let me know what is the cause of this problem?

Hello everyone.

I too am receiving a similar error at <b>Phase 9 Create Oracle Database</b>.

The log is as folllows :

WARNING 2007-06-12 22:35:57

Execution of the command "F:\oracle\ora92/bin/oradim '-NEW' '-SID' 'WS6' '-STARTMODE' 'auto'" finished with return code 20. Output:

DIM-00020: A service for this SID is already created. Please enter a different SID name. No action has been taken

O/S-Error: (OS 1073) The specified service already exists.

CJS-00095 Error return code. DIAGNOSIS: Return code 20 of executable F:\oracle\ora92/bin/oradim indicates an error. SOLUTION: See log file oradim.log for details.

Can anyone please telll me the solution to this ?

Hi SK,

No luck with links you have sent me. I'm got different error here again when I tried to continue old installation, here are the last few messages from the sapinst.log file

I couldn't connect using Oracle Enterprise Manager as sys user I still get the same error "Insufficient Privilege"

Hi, more info here

I tried to reinstall again, this time I got different error. I'm using the same SID that I used in last installation I thought it should overwrite it. Let me know if I need to provide more info
