TREX with SRM-MDM

Hi all,

I would like to get some advise on whether TREX is necessary for SRM-MDM catalog. When should we consider using TREX specifically for SRM-MDM? Appreciate any pointers on that.

Hi SF,

As per my understanding we dont need TREX configured for SRM-MDM Catalog because SRM-MDM Catalog is a webservice which fetches data directly from MDM. Since we can use SRM-MDM Catalog dircetly from URL without even creating web Service in SRM hence i guess we dont required TREX.

You can compare this with MDM Java APIs to retrieve data from MDM or provide search functionality.
