extractor taking lots of time.

we are using extractor 2LIS_13_VDKON to extract the data.

but its taking lots of time.how can i solve this problem.

any help appreciated.

Check the "time" of the execution with Basis people (or) in SM50 when you are executing..

--Is it high volume data ?

--how long the extraction has been run ?

--Hav u any user exit used ?

you have to check the job is active or running then you can sm50 check the process

RSA3 for Debug

SQL Trace ST05

SM30 for USER EXIT

actually i dont have specific information now.

but as far as i know it is problem with abap...

i dont have the code right now but what do i need to do, if the problem is with ABAP.

What Infopackage selections you have used for this Infosource ?

Approximately what is the volume of data (no of records ) you are trying to extract at one time ....plz let me know

Hi,

Have you done any enhancements(Append) to this DS.If so, make sure that code is performance optimistic.

Basically the setup table for 2LIS_13_VDKON will has the lot of data. For example, it holds at n avarage 10 records for each billing item record.

So also check system is uploading records to the New table of ODS or not.
