What are the different quantities I see in the details in Planning book?

Hi Experts,

In details of Sales Order in planning book, I can see three quantities (requested, confirmed and original quantity)

How does one differ from each other?

In the same way, I also see two quantities in details of Production(Confirmed) in planning book (requested and confirmed quantity). Whats the difference?

Hi Mylene,

Sales order confirmed quantity will be used during forecast consumption

Production order quantities will be used during snp heuristic

Hi Mylene,

1) Sales Order in planning book :-

a) Requested quantity :- Quantity mentioned in the sales order which is the

original requested quantity or the customer ordered quantity

b) Confirmed quantity: - Against the ordered quantity, the quanty of stocks

that are confirmed against the available receipts.

c) Original quantity:- Original quantity of the order

2) Production Requested quantity:- Actual requirement for production based

on the demand

3) Production confirmed quantity:- Against the production ordered quantity,

the quantity that is confirmed against it.

Hi again Sentil,

But in terms of APO SNP planning, which quantity will be considered? I am thinking that one quantity will be considered during:

a. SNP heuristic run

b. forecast consumption
