IS_R configuration on ECC 6.0 SR3

Hi All,

I need some help on how to configure the IS_R on ECC 6.0 SR3, IS there any prerequisite.

Please give some documents or what are the exact steps to configure( how to switch on the IS_R component).

In this case i have to upgrade it to EHP 3 or ECC 6.0 SR3 is enough.

Hi Vivek,

As of EHP 3, you have additional features like Enterprise Extension Retail, the business function Retail, Global Data Synchronization (ISR_RETAIL_GDS) which are available.

It depends on what you requirement is, if you really need to, you can upgrade it to EHP 3 otherwise SR3 should be enough.

If you go through the link, it will give you an idea of what different EHP versions offer.

Hi Vishnu,

Can you give me the transaction and how to switch-on the IS_R?

I read the SAP Documentation what you were given, i didn't find the activation of IS_R. I found the Initial menu for SAP retail, that might be after IS_R activation.

You can use Transaction SFW5.

The first link talks about EA-Retail which is an add-on for ECC 6,

whereas the second link talks about configuring SAP ECC into SAP Retail

Hi Vishnu,

How can i check that its activated or not.

In the SPRO, SFW5 it showing activated, but the transaction MM43 showing problem.

Can you give me some more details?

Hi Vivek,

What is the error message that you are getting?

I think the system needs to be set up as Retail System.

May be that is the reason why you have a problem accessing the Transaction.
