LOGIN PROBLEM AFTER APPLYING SAP_ BASIS PATCHES

Hi Experts,

I applying sap_basis support pack from level 16 to 20. when applying first patch it create more dumps and give the below syntax error. After that it cannot allowed to login to the GUI and create a dump. No any transcations codes are allowed. so please guide me to solve the problem.

The syntax error message:

Are you applying all 16 to 20 in one shot ??

Is it currently between patches and you are trying to login ??

Hi pravin,

i am not attending all the patches at one shot. only one patch has applied first. For the first patch also it started to created more dumps and after it not allowed to login.

So you have applied 16 and it started dumping and now you cant login at all ??

Would suggest you open a message to SAP also

You have no way knowing whether 16 completed successfully or not ??

First check your<DIR_TRANS>/tmp directory What files are there ??

Then check <DIR_TRANS>/log directory

There will be a log there for sure
