Hi Dheeraj,

There is no way to see from console that how many import files are pending for importing .You can see the import status i.e.Ready,exc3eeption etc..However MDIS logs the progress and results of each import job it undertakes. These log entries detail each step of the import process and can be monitored from the repositoryu2019s Reports table in the MDM Console. Selecting an Import report in the Reports table displays the report in the file.

Also The Verbose parameter in the MDIS configuration file controls how much troubleshooting information is included in the

Import log.

Hope this answers your query.

Hi,

How can end user find that how many import reports are still pending or in process?

Hi Dheeraj,

The end user has to be given access to view the reports in console. This can be defined by giving proper "ROLE" authorizations defined in role table of console.

The parameters like Chunk size, Import Slice mas decides the number of files to get loaded into MDM.

in this case though you place for examples 3 files in the ready; the actual files gets loaded into MDM, may not be 3 based on the above parameter settings...

so lets get create some named search for newly created records ( apply some filters ) ; the users can visiti the named search to know more about newly created records.

thanks

You can monitor the Import Status using - Solution Manager Diagnostics - Wily Introscope Agent.

Here you can explore more on what you want to monitor.
