I encountered a strange phenomenon on one of our boxes (Solaris x64). The system was running nicely for the last weeks but suddenly it started about 100 dbmsrv processes consuming LOTS of system time. I saw messages like

The instance was stoppped, database stopped and restarted. If I now try to start the instance again I get

% dbmcli -U c db_state
Error! Connection failed to node siauvia for database VT1:

There are no shell limit changes etc.
What can be the cause of that? I'm unable to start the instance.
Markus
Hello,
do you got a solution? I encountered the same Problem on Linux with Version 7.7.07.18. I found no OSS-Note or threat with an answer.
Best Regards
Andreas
