How to create a project in PS automatically wen it is created in cProjects.

Hai experts,

How to create a project in PS automatically wen it is created in cProjects.

After creating project in cProjects wen i flagged to transfer it is not transferring to PS...

How to achieve this...

Hi

I hope you have done all the necessory customization required for cProjects to PS integration.

Additionally check for following setting:

In Tcode OPSA, for project profile :CPR0001, check for Organization data defined.

Also, check if your PS has coding Mask.

If so the project definition of cProjects should match the coding mask you are using on PS side

yes Niraj i have done all the settings. and i have passed company code, CO area, Bus area, WBS element as per the coding mask but it is giving error like FINAL CHECK IN PROJECT DEFINITION AND WBS ELEMENT : ERROR. Any idea to resolve this pls ...

I still believe that there is any issue with the project definition in cProject. it should be same as defined in Project coding mask in PS.

if

Project coding key : Y

Coding Mask :-.000.XX-XXXX,

then your project definition in cProjects should be Y.000.XX-XXXX where X for alphanumeric characters and 0 for numeric characters.

Also check following settings:

For Accounting Integration:

For Object type : 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS

Proxy class CL_DPR_OLR3_WBSELEMENT

For Controlling scenario :

Costing variant PC02

For a defined settlement profile, make Settlement optional for settlement to a profitability segment.(Please take help from your CO person). Also check for Functional area settings in the assignments section in Controlling scenatio settings.

S i have followed the same coding mask like

MU.09P.31

Mu -location , 09 - fiscal year , P - engineering services ,31- sr no.

My Proj defn and wbs element are same as per this coding mask....

The settings like proxy class are orrect... I checkd still the same error

Try with following settings if you have not done:

1) In define project type, for for accounting integration , select scenario as: Accounting integration in my SAPERP and type of transfer as : Always Automatic when saving

2) For Define object link for object type , define proxy class for WBS element and Project definition(PS)

Also define RFC for Single object Controlling on WBS element in Object types for object links.

3) For Accounting integration in Make general settings, for your project type select frame09 for your object type single object controlling on Internal order

4) Define CO scenario CPR2 with Strategy sequence as SAP040 in period end closing, costing sheet as standard and Costing variant as PC02(Internal Order)

5) In CO scanrio maintenance view, for your project type select contolling method as Internal Order( Project Definition, Automatic)

With these settings I am able to create a PS project from cProject when I save a cProject.

Thank u for your help. Here I checkd the settings it is completely different from wht u mentioned.

In Accounting integration in Make general settings, here project type = frame09 .

Here My Controlloing scenario is CPR0001.

Costing Variant PS01

Strategy Seq. SAP010

and In CO scanrio maintenance view for my proj type it is multilevel controlling (structure element, Automatic)..

So may be because of this the prob occurs ....?

I tried with following settings and now able to create a PS project from cProject:

For controlling Scenario CPR2, costing variant is PCO2, costing sheet A00000(standard),settlement profie 20, object class OCOST9Overhead costs), Strategy sequence SAP040.

For settlement profile 20, make settings for Profitability Seg. as Settlement Optional.( In controlling node in config.)

Controlling Method : Multilevel Controlling (Strucutre, ELEMENT, Automatic), CO scenario CPR2, Contolling level 99

ECP settings: for CO scenario CPR2, costing variant is PCO2

I am able to create PS structure fromm cProjects with these setting. Then only warning I am getting is :

"No cost/revenue rate has been assigned to Task " when I click on Costing button on Accounting tab.
