Problem during the installation of Netweaver 7.0 SR3 on Windows 2008 Server

Dear All,

I'm experiencing a problem when I'm trying to install Netweaver 7.0 SR3 on Windows 2008 Server for IA 64 Server. I'm getting an error when the system is trying to create the SAPLOC folder. Please have a look at the error displayed in the log file:

The step createFirstSystemDirectories with step key |NW_ABAP_ASCS|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|5|0|createFirstSystemDirectories was executed with status ERROR

Does anyone know how to solve it?

Any help will be greatly appreciate.

Hi

It seems problem with the user id through which you are trying to install SAP, do you have admin right to install SAP

Have you created system directories as the error is stating that system directories are missing ?

You need to paste more lines from error log. That one line does not have any error codes or significant informantion. BTW, do you have administration access on that system?

Please post the entire log file and mean while isntall the the latest sapinst.
