strdbs.cmd is red in SAPMMC

Former Member

Today we did windows updates on the QA1 server and now it won't come back up. When I try to start SAP, I get red in sapmmc for strdbs.cmd, msg_server.exe, and disp+work.exe. The kernel hasn't changed and I found all three files in the kernel directory. The environment variable path hasn't changed so it's pointing to the correct kernel directory. Can someone please help guide me in the right direction?

Thanks,

you updated your kernel?

file strdbs.cmd is missing from your kernel directory.

check these locations:

X:\usr\sap\SID\sys\exe\run

X:\usr\sap\SID\sys\exe\[OS-CPU]\[n]uc

X:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\exe

Hi,

Check for the oracle services. Seems to be services or down. Start the services and start the DB manually and try again.

Check if Database has started correctly

Login in sqlplus and make sure it is running

If not then start the database first and retry

If it is already running, then please post the trace
