Usage Decision -Transfer Posting

Hi All,

In our system Usage decision is usually done by QA10 (RQEVAI30) for inspection types 01,04,06.09.

Now i tried to do it for an inspection type 08(transfer posting),but the system is not recognizing the lots available for usage decision with inspection type 08.But when i try to do the UD through QA32,its doing the same sucessfully.

Why its so?Why system is not identifying the lots with inspection type 08 thr QA10?

Hi,

QA10 is used for automatic usage decision.For this one of the pre requisite is in material master QM view against the inspection

type you should select automatic UD.This has to be selected for each inspection type.In your case check for 08 inspection type

whether this is selected or not.Hope this would help you.

Auto UD is selected for insp type 08 in material master.Still its not doing UD for 08 inspection type.

Hi,

Other than material master the other pre requisites is all the inspection characteristics should be closed for all the lots.

In customisation also in plant parameters you have to mention waiting time .

I didnt get ur point on waiting time.Can u Please elaborate that point?

Hi,

If we give the wait time as 10 days then system will do the automatic usage decision for the lots after 10 days of completion of

the end date.If the start and end dates are 18.09.2009 and 19.09.2009.System will do automatic UD after 29.09.09.

Problem is solved.

Actually task list was not maintained correctly for inspection type 08.Now its working properly.

Hi Tanuj,

Inspection plan for the inspection type 08 was not maintained.Task list and inspection characteristics to be maintained for the inspection type.

That will solve the problem.
