unable to add system in SMSY

Hi All,

When i am addding a system(X11) in SMSY->systems->Netweaver , i am getting an error "System X11 already exists. Change or enhance the system name"

I have searched for X11 in SMSY->systems using Search icon , it says no search found. i m wondering how do i find if there is an entry or why is this issue occuring

can someone please help if you have already faced the issue

Which version of Solman you have ? Check if this Note applies

Hi Rajeh,

could you try to find the system by using menu System landscape => Select object

Mark radio Button System and enter X11. Click on Where used list button and also please hit Display Button. If you get messages that the system does not exist, please check table SMSY_SYSTEM. Either X11 should not listed here (if it was never created, or the last entry should be "Deleted".

If X11 is not listed here, or has the entry DELETED, then there is some inconsistency in the system landscape. Was there a system X11 before? Do you use SLD?

Thanks for the response,i tried the above and i found the system. yes we do use SLD
