Creation of Test Set

Hi,

Can you please tell me how can I create a Test Set in Solution Manager ? I have a project and will attach a Test Package to it, however, I require a Test Set in the Project, I would like to know how to create it.

Goto Stwb_set tcode

and here create a test set for you by going into change mode and creating a new entry

Now in test plan attributes assign this test set.

Thank you very much for the reply. It should solve the problem (Now I need to have the authorizations for maintaining cross client tables) .. anyways thanks for the help

i can't understand, do we use it anywhere during test management?

test Set/series are attributes of test plans, with which you can group test plans, and by which you can filter in the status info system.

You assign these test series to a test plan, when you create it, in the attributes, under Test Series.

Classical test series are:

• Function test
• Procedure test
• Integration test

Adding to Relekar point, this will be very useful for report generation.

Test Set classifcation can be as follows.

FIT     Functional Integration Test

PIT     Product Integration Test

SIT     System Integration Test

UAT    User Acceptance Test

RT     Regression Test

and so on......
