Regarding Master Data Cleaning/Adjustments to SAP NFe / SPEDs project

Hello all,

We are near to start our project of SAP NFe and SPEDs and we would like to know how you have dealt with Master Data Cleaning/Adjustments (for example, Customers, Vendors and Materials).

Did you use some specific solution out of SAP or developed any ABAP to solve it?

Thanks,

Daniel.

We found a solution in the market (made in ABAP) that makes the process of cleaning data, and check status of CGC and IE.

Daniel,

you can ask this question in the portuguese forums for NF-e & SPED.

The link is .

Regarding your questions, there are several solutions in the market for this validation.

Most of them use offline DBs such as correios or connect to some sites through robots that automatize the caption screens and are based on Z ABAP Developments. This validates the content against the "official" registries, such as Receita Federal.

It is not data cleaning per se, more like "data overriding with the content from the official sites".

There are also "NF business content" validators, such as IOB, which validate fields like tax codes, CFOP, NCM etc.

Additionally, SAP provide a couple of solutions for data cleansing.

Through SAP BO Data Quality, it is possible to validate the data against pre-defined content rules, e.g. you define whether the street number field is mandatory or not, you define the required format for the jurisdiction code field (e.g. "AA 1111111") etc.

Also, through SAP MDM, it would be possible to achieve such validation, but it would make sense only if you also need master data centralization/consolidation (specially if you handle several legacy systems).

best,

Henrique.
