Q notifications trigger in QM

what is the basis for the QM notification trigger in the system .

Hi

As per my understanding you are asking about auto triggering of notification in case of defects recording.

There is SAP default Notification F2 ( for receiving inspection -01 type) & F3( for 04 type of inspection)

In QCC0->Quality Inspection>Inspection lot creation>Maintain Inspection type-->

If you maintain Default Notification like F2 for 01 Inspection type.----->Then

Whenever a lot is generated for 01 & you Record the defects system will generate the notification in the background with reference objects as Inspection Lot number.

The Purpose of this notification is to have some Corrective & Preventive action from the responsible agency.

This will help for analysis for vendor or material.
