Authorization error for 0001 plant in report MBBS

Dear Experts,

I am getting an authorization problem when executing the report MBBS.

It says You have no authorization for this transaction in plant 0001

The message number is M7120.

Can some one please tell me why it is asking for the authorization for plant 0001, which is std. SAP and not configured to our comp code.

Input your company code or your plant code into the filed under the field of material.(sorry for forgetting the name of that field)

It must be a bug. I have met the same trouble.

Thanks all for the replies.

After analyzing the issue in your system, we have come to a conclusion that, the program RM07MBWS which executes for the transaction MBBS, will first check the authorization for all the plants with a wild entry * in the selection screen and then executes the report.

When it checks the plants the 0001 plant is also exists in that table, hence it is giving that error message.

Its a bug in the program.

Please refer to the note.

This note will help if the user has the proper authorizations and still MBBS is not working.

Go to tcode SU53 and check what exactly is missing in the authorization, eg:- Authorization object, Activity etc,
