ChaRM configurtn-No network connectivity in between DEV-QA1 to QA2 and PRD

hi Experts,

We are planning to implement solution manager for CHaRM configuration.

Our Landscape is something like this...

ECD(DEV)->EC1(QA1) and

EA2(QA2)->EAP(PRD)

we are not having any network connectivity in between DEV-QA1 to QA2 and PRD. DEV and QA1 are in one network and QA2 and PRD are on other network.

DEV and QA1 are connected and QA2 and PRD are connected.

Now we need to implement ChaRM from Dev to PRD, so please suggest me how to implemet this. Whether this is possible or not? what different settings we have to do from standards.

It would be very great if you suggest us on this.

Funny, No network connectivity between QAS systems and implementing ChaRM. Not possible.

How are you managing Transports now? from QA1 to QA2?

Hi Raghu,

we are moving the files (Co files and Data File) manually from QA1 to QA2.

We are runnning one batch proggram that moves the co file data file from QA1/DEV to one spefifyed folder/server/device.

And then from this device/folder to QA2 we are moveing manually.

Now same way whether we can move the files in case of ChaRM configuration? Please suggest?

Dear Narpal,

You should have a network connection between the systems to have ChaRM. You can configure ChaRM between system in different transport domains. But still you require a permanant network connection, without which ChaRM configuration is not possible.
