Bex Currency translation

Hi all,

I defined a custom currency conversion type (in RRC2)using:

exch.rate type: EURX

source curr. from data record

fixed targ. curr:USD

variable time ref: A(exact date) and object: 0BILL_DATE.

In the report I select two records:

one in USD one in EUR; the billing date is in both cases 31.3.2006.

In the TCURR table I don't have a record eur->usd for the query date; however the system performs a conversion, using a rate.

Could you help me to understand how the system determines this rate?

Dear Stefania,

I think it might have taken 'nearest' date available.. can you verify with nearest exchange rate avaialble..

In the above document.. some points are touched on page number 13.. not sure this helps much but still..

I thought it took the nearest available date, but it isn't so...
