Publish master or procurement catalogue? (CCM 2.0)

Hi,

We have installed CCM 2.0. We would like to know the advantages of publishing the procurement catalogue instead of the master catalogue if we only have one procurement catalogue.

Hi Patricia

Master Catalogue is created when we run the intialise report in se38.

We can create as many as procument catalog and assign different set of materials to different procument catalog.

we can have plant wise materials by creating plant wise procument calatalog and assiging the procument catalog in the PPOMA_BBP attribute. And assign and publish materials belonging to that plant to the procument catalog so that user can view only those materials which are existing in their plant.

However, if you had only one procurement catalogue, so, master catalogue and procurement catalogue have the same content, what catalogue you would publish, master or procurement? which advantages are?

(we only have one procurement catalogue because we are using views)

Hi Patricia,

I you are using the same content and have only one OCI, you can use master catalogue only.
