Delete Line in Batch Determination Strategy VCH2

Dear Gurus,

In change batch determination strategy VCH2, how do we delete a line item? I know we can set the deletion indicator but my client wants to completely delete strategies which are old ones. currently delete button in Edit in VCH2 is greyed out. Kindly help.

Hello,

If you are referring to the deletion of strategy types from the configuration, I believe you can go ahead and select the strategy type and delete it. However, you would need to know the impact of such an action.

And in terms of condition records being maintained, you can delete it directly, but however, it is better to mark a deletion indicator and change the validity dates to reflect this change, as there may be dependent documents and processes.
