Hi, all.
I'm having trouble with my Online + Redolog backup on Windows platform.
Everything was fine but today it fails with
BR0279E Return code from 'C:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\nuc\NTAMD64\mkszip -c C:\ORACLE\<SID>\SAPDATA7\SR3_367\SR3.DATA367 > D:\backup\<SID>db\bebmgwuh\SR3.DATA367.Z': 128
BR0224E Compressing C:\ORACLE\<SID>\SAPDATA7\SR3_367\SR3.DATA367 to D:\backup\<SID>db\bebmgwuh\SR3.DATA367.Z failed due to previous errors
and so on.
I'm running Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 on Windows 2003 x64. BrBackup version: 7.00

Probably BRTOOLS patch upgrade will help you.
Have a look at note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/896160

Hi,
The first thing to do is run the BRBACKUP with BR_TRACE set, as Pravin has alreday recommended in his reply.
You might also try to run the 'mkszip' command manually from a CMD shell so that you can (hopefully) get some detailed output from the command, e.g.
C:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\nuc\NTAMD64\mkszip -v -c C:\ORACLE\<SID>\SAPDATA7\SR3_367\SR3.DATA367 > D:\backup\testfile.Z
Regards,
Mark

You are sure there is space in 😧 drive and have you resized or added this particular file SR3.DATA367 recently ??
Please check note 29321 and set the trace level which will help capture more information
You need to set BR_TRACE
