ERM - Role Synchronization

Hi Experts,

2 questions, appreciate your advice:

1. If I created a role (say RoleX) in ERM, and then it was generated at the backend (i.e. SAP). However, I accidentally deleted the roleX in ERM (i.e. no longer found in the role library), but the roleX is still existing in the backend. What can I do to synchronise between ERM and SAP. The only way I can think of now is to go to /n/virsa/re_dnldroles, to manually download RoleX and import RoleX back through the Mass Role Import function in ERM. But is there any other way via some synchronisation background job?

2. If I deleted RoleX in the backend (i.e. SAP), would the RoleX also be automatically deleted from the role library in ERM?

Hi,

Please find my response below:

1. Yes, uploading role manually is your only option.

2. No. Role will exist in ERM.

ERM and SAP both have their own database so if you remove role from one of them, the role will still exist in other system.
