CR from Unicode2ASCII and ASCII2Unicode

is it supported by SAP it?

Change request (customizing, data, ABAP, ecc.):

1 - a CR released from ASCII system imported into Unicode system?

2 - a CR relasede from Unicode system imported into ASCII system?

Client transport:

3 - client transport from ASCII to Unicode?

4 - client transport from Unicode to ASCII?

Hi Ganimede,

for 1. and 2., please have a look at SAP note 1322715 > point 8.

The same restrictions as mentioned in that note are valid for 3. and 4. However I am not sure how many customers actually have done a client transport in mixed landscapes - maybe there are some additional restrictions. But I do not know them.

Of course this also depends on the profile you use for the client transport.

Maybe there is someone who reads this and who has already experiences with such client transports ?
