Confirmation status on Sales order

Hi Gurus!

How can we change the "Confirmation" status on the Sales order (on Status Overview)?

Which actions allow to impact this status?

Try with Status Profile BS02 , The status are updated in to table VBUK

OK, but my question is more which changes need to be done in the Sales order to update this status "Confirmation" or "Confirmed" or "not Confirmed"? (availability check, completeness of the Sales order)

Hi,

There are few config settings that you need to be check:

1 ) Go to VOV7 and Check for the "Completion Rule" field for your Item Categoty and check the options.

But what does "Confirmation status" mean?

On the SAP help for the field "VBUK-GBSTK", SAP says:

Overall processing status of documentThe processing status of the entire sales document.

Use

The system determines the status of the entire sales document by taking into account the status of all header-related information and the status of all individual items. The status message tells you whether processing of the sales document is open, in progress, or complete.

I don't understand very well the link with the Sales order completeness.

Hi

Simply said... ur item status will be updated based on ur item category completion rule( whether u refer complete qty or not )

header status will be updated based on ur ALL sales order items status (All items status are completed or not)
