Hello,

I am tring to configure the solution database in Solman, can anybody tell me that what is is use of CodeGrpProfile nad a subject profile while configuring SDB ??

2) Can we configure SDB in Solman. ??

3) there are so many profiles which are need to be generated ( cause, place) ...-.. those all are mendatory.??

Can any body share a document to configure the basic settings in system for SDB??

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Actually i have already made most of the settings for SDB in Solman but still few configurations left because of it the SDB is not working properly.

1) how to define the code group profile and status profile for SDB in IMG configuration activities?

2) Can you give me the steps to do the besic settings for SDB in IMG?

3) what are the mimimum number of profiles need to be created before configuring SDB( Status profile, Subject profile, code group profile).

Could you please provide me the steps i need to follow to configure SOLDB.

It seems to be a quite complicated to me.

Hi ,

Subjects will be saved as an index for searching solutions

Yes, you have to use SDB for the solution database
