Hi All,
In the ALV grid output, how do we get two cells(A1,A2) in a single cell(the cell before to cell A)?
I.e. two different values (each in single cell[A1,A2]) inside a single cell.
This is like nested table. How can we achieve this?
c1 c2 c3
A1 A Row 1
A2
B1 B Row 2
B2
I am using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY FM.

Hi,
Unfortunately, merging of cells / nesting of cells is not possible in ALV Grid. You need to find a different way of displaying the data.
IF you have a parent child record, you can try doing ...
1. Use ALV Tree control and show the data in a hierarchial format, where the chile shows up under the parent node record.
2. Else, you can design this with two grids - Parent / child, when you double click a on specific parent records, shows the relevant child details in the other grid.

Ravi
