Hi
SRM 4 Extended Classic
We have tried to change the unit of measure on the Purchase Order that has the status of HELD. We received message ''Quantity unit not allowed'' and resets to the uom on the shopping cart. Does any one know if the unit of measure can be changed before it goes into ECC.
Please advise
Many thanks
Karen
Hi
The shopping cart has been created as a Describe requirement not from the catalogue. The requisitioner has chosen the UOM (item) the Buyer wants to change this to (pack).
Thank you for the replies so far. Much appreciated.

Hi
Khan is correct. it is not possible to change the UOM .
since it is picked from master data (ordering unit)

is the purchase order item having product number (or) free description?
normally when you enter product number , system will consider the unit of measure of the product master data , from the transaction commpr01.
in such a case it is not possible to change unit of measure, and that is standard.
