time estimation for the report

Hi Experts,

time estimation for creating one report in BW.

Already the report exits in R/3.

The report does not satisfying customer’s needs.

So they are in planning to change in r3 side.

The new report need in BW side too.

So my TL asked time estimation.

Considerations:

1. No Data Target(cube / ods) available Bw side to develop a report.

2. Report consists of some formulas

3. Report is fico report.

4. Even datasources not existed in r3 side with relevant fields.

Now tell me how much time it will take to completed entire process including document etc.

Hi Varaprasad,

In this case, I would suggets you to prepare a task list wherein you need to list out each and every activity that is still pending to be done.

This break up activity list should help in breaking the complexity into simpler items . This will automatically help you in doing an effort estimation.
