Problem in Printing output of transaction S_ALR_87010007

Hello,

I have a problem in ECC 6.0 when i execute the transaction S_ALR_87010007 and selecting the required select option it goes to output device selection where i selected the printer and clicked print it gives me the below error.

"Call contained error(s): ADS (2) "

where as the same worked fine in SAP 4.7 before upgarde.

Can some one help me out.

This error could be because ADS is not configured properly in your system . You can check if ADS is configured properly by executing the report "FP_TEST_00" . You can find more information on ADS at the following place .

I am getting the same error when i execute the mentioned report.

And i came to know ADS is not installed in our systems.

can you please let me know how we have to install the ADS.

Hello,

can some one please let me know is it realy required activation of Java Stack for the installation of ADS server.

As of now we have only ABAP stack in our system.

And the implications of activating Java stack in our system.
