Is Message Mapping and Interface Mapping required even though you are using
same message type in source and target?
Hi,
It you are using same name for message type (and they are having the same structure and name space) and message interface, then no IR is required.
>>same message type in source and target?
But if Message interface name is different, then you need operation mapping (even though they use the same message types.
Also if message type is different then message mapping is required

Dear Ram,
If you are not going to change anything in target, then Design part is not required. Just with dummy interface name, and namespace you can transfer the file from one location to the other by using Configuration part.
Please refer the following if you have doubts.
