How to check Message Holding Capcity

Can anybody help me How to check message Holding capacity in Adapter engine..?

HI,

The Messages in adapter engine are based on the retention period mainatined.

Go to Visual Admin > Server 0 > Services > SAP XI Adapter: XI

On the right you would have two parameters:

1) xiadapter.inbound.persistDuration.default

2) xiadapter.outbound.persistDuration.default

The values of these parameters are in milleseconds.

Please provide more details on exactly what do you mean by this? Do you mean how many messages, in status Holding, can be stored in the adapter engine DB tables? Or do you mean how many messages in total can be stored in XI?
