Chinese characters are not prininting in PDF

Hi All,

I have created a smartform for billing document tcode and the I am converting the output as PDF and sending to exeternal mail as attachment. in pirnt preview chinese characters are looking good btut in the PDF attachment they are getting corrupted.

Please help me resolving on this issue.

This is happening because the code page of your system is not supporting those characters, which are getting damaged.

And I guess you are facing this problem in Development System . Genearally, the code page of the higher system, supports the special characters and the PDF will be printed or mailed with all characters intact

Thanks for your quick reply, but Chinese user is also not able get the proper Chinese characters.She must have had code page that supports Chinese that supports Chinese characters.

Please let me know if any other ideas.
