Module chain configuration

Hi Experts,

In the Configuration part , under the communication channel we have three tabs , one of which is named as "Module". Acc to the need of our scenario we sometimes specify the modules.

Wanted to know how many modules are there as such ? And who will create these defalut modules and where those modules are being stored?

If the standard modules dont fulfill your requirement you have to develop custom using NWDS and deploy as an EAR file on SAP j2ee engine and then use it in Communication channel module tab.

Example :there is no std module to read and Excel file,so you have to create a custom module .

as mentioned in sap help

u2022	The Adapter Framework contains two default module chains: one for the sender/inbound direction and one for the receiver/outbound direction. 
u2022	You can enhance the default module chains with customer-specific modules. The module processor controls the steps in the module chain by calling generic and, if defined, adapter-specific modules.
