DB lookup in mapping

Hi,

I am new to the XI world.

I am working on a scenario where I will get the data from file and need to make some data base lookups and then map the values to idoc and post it to R/3.

Can any one please provide some inputs.

Hi,

Two alternatives:

1) Go for BPM or;
