Master Data Duplicate records?

Hi all,

What are the reasons for Master data Duplicate records occurs, as i know one reason of duplicates, when we store transaction data first then master data duplicates occurs. And also we have defined in the Inpfopackage to avoid duplicate but still it is occurring, i don't know why.Can any one explain Why this happening. How to avoid these types of repeated errors permenently.

Dear Vijay,

Most of the reasons for my earlier project were because they were entered by User Manually in Excel sheets and entered by Flat file. We had a cleaning small ABAP program to run before start the load.

I think that check is to make "Fail" if any duplicate records with in the package of the erquest.
