One Line item - Two taxes

Hi SAP Gurus,

Client has a requirement that for the same line item, two different taxes should be applicable.

for eg: i have a line item / material for which both sales tax and service tax is applicable.

I can get this for two different line items in the same sales order , one with sales tax and other with service tax. But not for the same line item.

Please let me know how we can proceed with this ?

Hi vamsi,

It is possiable by inserting both condition types into your pricing procedure. and maintain condition record for both.

If you are using CIN, insert both condition types into your pricing procedure and ask your FI consultant to maintain both the condition types in tax procedure. Create a tax code with both the condition types. Assign the tax code to customer/material based on the key combinations.

It is possible, if you maintain pricing procedure in the required way.. if ur pricing procedure is z00001, and sales tax condition type is zcst and service tax zsvc, and both are to be calculated on basic price then, you may maintain it as shown below

10 pr00

20 zcst From 10

30 Zsvc from 10

Then maintain condition records in vk11.
