Hello,
We have setup our landscape to have a Dev system which goes to two different QA systems, then from the QA systems into Production. Dev has 4 clients going into QA 1 and 2 clients going to QA2, There are then two productive clients, one for HR, One for FI.
The Transport system has been setup and is working.
Can ChaRM handle sending a transport to two systems for testing?
How should the logical systems be set up?
DEV - -> QA1 - - - - >PRD
\ /
-- >QA2 - - -
Regards,
Hi Avrohom Weissman
We had same setup and this is what we did to come up with this issue.
We have added the new client in the Transport Path of STMS as required. We have used standard Change Management program*(/TMWFLOW/SCMA_BTCH_SYNC_TEST)* where we can setup a variant. This is done after adding the new clients in an existing transport group to landscape.
We have copied this to to Custom Module. When ever a transport moved to Dev usually transport move to QA( Which configured in Task list). We need schedule this program as background job for every 15mins or what ever is good for you.
It will transport same.
Hope this will help.

Bhaskar

Hi Avrohom,
Yes chaRM can handle sending changes to 2 Quality Systems. You need to define both systems as the 'Target Systems' when you setup the logical components.
If your STMS is setup correctly, ChaRM will be able to send to both the systems.
I would need clarity on the way you have setup the STMS to comment further on this.
Thanks & Regards,
