Dear Team,
Dispatcher show yellow--ABAP processes all in RUN status and tried connecting to oracle conn /@SD2 it hangs.
Not able to find as why the oracle hangs and that is the reason as why the logs dev_w0 does not show anything.
Any idea guys??

Is there something to do with the user *OPS$MB1ES1018\SD2ADM *. I have changed its password to windows login of sd2adm and also to sap, but no luck..
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the userid/passwd..I could login ..but my problem still remains the same..
I have found some issues with the LISTENER. I have many listener for my instance which is getting clash with each other i guess......
I have disabled them now..I wanna say something interesting with relate to this
I have this list. OracleDU1102TNSListenerLISTENERSD2 which might have got created after I change the listener.ora file( change the name of the listener to LISTENERSD2. But why it has taken that name of another instance DU1????? and the path also belong to SD2 f:\oracle\SD2\102\BIN\TNSLSNR
so I have
Service Name Path
OracleDU1102TNSListenerSD2 f:\oracle\SD2\102\BIN\TNSLSNR
OracleDU1102TNSListenerSD2012 f:\oracle\SD2\102\BIN\TNSLSNR
OracleDU1102TNSListenerSD2102 f:\oracle\SD2\102\BIN\TNSLSNR
OracleSD2102TNSListener f:\oracle\SD2\102\BIN\TNSLSNR
Also I have created a user in SD2 and given connect, resource to that user and tried to connect through user/pass ATSD2 or user/passATSD2.WORLD but still it hangs....
Is there some problem with listener..
LSNRCTL> show current_listener
Current Listener is LISTENER
LSNRCTL> show trc_file
Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=mb1es1018)(PORT=1527)
LISTENER parameter "trc_file" set to listener.trc
The command completed successfully
Could you have anything to suggest and try?
Regards
Pras
Hi again Prashant,
This is definitely a messy situation. Can you do the following:
1) Stop and disable all Listener services except OracleSD2102TNSListener (btw, is DU1 a real instance on that same server and if yes, what Oracle version does it run)
2) Double-check via Windows TaskMgr that only one TNSLSNR.EXE process exists
3) As user sd2adm try command 'tnsping SD2'
4) Also check contents of SQLNET.ORA file as per SAP note 562403, points 10 and 11
Rgds,
Mark
We had this a couple of times, when the listener forked a second process. You might want to restart the listener to check that.

hi Mohit,
I think the message as mentioned by you is common and even though it connects..

Hi Markus,
I have checked everything, but nothing works out here..
I tried changing the password for the OPS$MB1ES1018\SD2ADM to sap and then externally also. But nothing is working.
I think its something to do with the schema or some env variable..but without any luck..
I have gone through 400241 and 50088, tried all the things..but no use. Then change the password from brtools option 8 and then 4 and changed the SAPSR3 and SAPSR3DB to sap, but no use.
any idea as what could be going wrong???
Your valuable suggestion is welcomed..
Regards
Pras
From OS level check "oraarch" directory.
Is that directory full? if yes, then make some space there.
