Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how to lock or unlock the Chane List in PI 7.1 ?

Hi,

You do not lock/ unlock a Change List. What you can do is transfer the changelist from somebody else into your name.

Hi,

Take the username->click search. find the change-list and then right click "Transfer".

Hello,

try out .. you can lock the folder and do all the development under this folder. I guess this could solve your problem.

Sorry i think i interpreted in wrong way...try as suggested in above post...

Hi Shweta,

XI3.0/PI7.0

If you are in IR or ID, go to changelist tab. Select the user (from whom you want to transfer the changelist).Click display standard. Then you get teh list of changelist, then right click and select Transfer.Only open chnagelist can be transferred

Let me clear one thing,

do you want to lock the changeList under your userID OR

Do you want to assign the changelist of other user to your userID.

Hi Swetha,

Some times these change lists will be separated by Users (eg., dev02,dev03 etc.,) and the authorizations will also be limited to the particular user assigned by the Basis.This is one point where one user cannot modify the objects in a change list created by the other user(Authorizations assigned by basis).

Hi,

Go to IR (or) ID click on "Change Lists" tab>select the user from whom u wanted the change object(Hit Display)>Open the SCV-->Right click on "Standard Change List" and hit "Transfer"

U will get the change list under ur user.Click activate.

In order to unlock a object go to Exchange Infrastructure>Administrator->Administration of Locks and Caches>Lock overview>select ur object and do an "Remove selected locks"

u can totally lock the entire SCV->Double click on SCV->uncheck the option-->"Objects Are Modifiable" .

Hi All,

Actually, I am working on PI 7.1.

In ESR(IR) and ID there are 2 tabs

1.Desogn Objects

2.Change Lists.

When I click on the Change Lists Tab there comes only my user name.

Even the right clicking on the Change Lists tab doesnt give useful results.

Please help me.

Hi,

there is a filter button on top (in change list tab) click that. Then you can change the username

Selct Display Filters

So are you able to see your name? Then file is in visible mode. Now here type the user id (other xi user's id) and press enter. Are you seeing any changelist?

HI,

I guess your need is to unlock a locked object..

U dont need to trasfer change list for this..

You can unlock this from the administration tab on the XI home page.

Hi Shweta,

In the change list Click on filter (besides refresh button) after give the user name (not your user name, from which user objects you want to transfer, give that user name) and right click on change list and select Transfer, then that user objects is transferred to your user (currently your login user).

Are you referring to standard change-list that get created in IR and ID?

How can I do it?

I tried it in RWB but there I did not find anything like that in the Lock Overview.

Please help me.
