Hello Experts,
What is the difference between Solution Manager and DMS?
Rgds,
Benu
Hi Benu,
I presume you are refering to the document handling capabilities of Solman. As mentioned by Christoph, any documents stored in Solman would be related to managing your SAP system or SAP project (used by consultants, project managers, system admins and other technical folks) and NOT any business related documentation.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Lashan

Hi Benu,
the Solution Manager is a tool to administrate your SAP system and handle updates and checks more easily. But DMS is part of the SAP PLM module and so part of the SAP system. So from my point of view you cannot compare the SAP Solution Manager and DMS as they have totally different targets and functional areas.
Best regards,
Christoph
