Handling Unit

When user view doc flow of a delivery. If the Delivery has been packed and there are a handling unit show up on the doc flow. When click on the HU and click on "Display document" from doc flow, the system displayed a totally different HU. What is the reason and resolution?

Hello sir,

Every HU has internal HU number. This internal HU is at item level and HU you enter in packing tab of delivery is at header level. You can use VEKP table and enter HU number which you used in delivery. You will get corresponding internal HU number. This internal HU number is visible in document flow of delivery.

Yes you are right.But the internal HU visible in document flow of delivery shows totally different contents(deliveries and packing) which is not relevant to delivery Handling Unit.This is the problem.What is the reason and resolution?

Hello Sharma-manish,

I think what Milind is trying to say is that the Handling Units are not displayed in the same order in Document Flow. In the Delivery they are sorted by Packaging Material and then external Handling Unit number.

In Document Flow they are sorted by internal Handling Unit number. So the order may be different in Document Flow than you see in Packing if you have multiple Packaging Material part numbers.
