Hello Friends
I have the following situation:
I have storage bin of type "A"
I have to put Storage units of type "B" into this bin
When the Utilisation is 100%:I am not able to put any SU in the bin
When the utilisation is 0%, I am able to post SU 's of same type in the bin.
I would like to know, how utilisation is calculated and which settings determine the utilisation calculation of a bin?
Thanks & Regards
Prasad
Hello,
You can use different capacity method in storage type configuration.
Following is the example of capacity usage based on maximum weight where utilization is taken in to account
(1)Enter the maximum weight allowed for the storage bin in Bin master data (i.e load capacity of bin in LAGP- LGEWI)
(2) In material master MARA- BRGEW field add weight of material. You can see it in WM 1 view.
(3)In storage type configuration, Capacity method 1- (Check according to max wt) should be active. Yo u can allow add to stock in same configuration
In storage bin master data screen, system calculates occupied weight as follows
Occupied wt= order qty * Qty in MARA-BRGEW-------(1)
Utilization of bin is calculated as
(Occupied wt ( Refer 1) / Max wt of BIN) * 100
If you use palletisation data in material master then it will be preferably taken in to consideration
Thanks
Milind
