SAP ECC 5.0/6.0 installation

Hi,

Plz provide me the System Requirement for SAP ECC 5.0/6.0 installation.

If someone has good installation guide with screen shots.

plz send it to me.

Hi,

1. As you have put your problem in "SAP on Windows" category, mean OS is Windows.

2. Then Question is -- is it 32bit OS or 64bit OS.

3. Basic Software requirement for Install SAP ECC5/ECC6.

a). Java 1.4.2.XX

b). You have to define JAVA path in Enviornmental Enviorment.

c). Recommended Virtual Memory is Approx 20GB.

d). Download Inasttalion Master,Kernal, Export Dump, RDBMS, RDBMS Patch, Oracle Client for 32bit(x86) or 64bit Windows.

4. Install Oracle First then Oracle Patch.

5. Now start SAP installation.

These two are different products and it makes sense to go for the lates one. You may have to follow the installation guides link at ttp://service .sap.com/instguides.

Over the period, SAP documentation have improved a land it should be quite simple to understand.
