I'm testing a new XI install (6.40 SP16). I've created my objects in the Integration Repository just fine. However, in the Integration Directory I wish to select a Business System from our SLD (menu path Business System --> Assign Business System). Doing this produces the following error:
Access to object list of type "BusinessSystem" using the InternalEOAService BusinessSystemAccessor failed
What are the best steps to debug this? Could it be permissions with the XIIDIRUSER account?
Thanks!
Hi,
You must have XIDIRUSER or (PIDIRUSER on NW2004s SR2) you must give
SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER
SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE
roles
And User Type must be service

Hello,
I am also facing this problem with the SP16 of XI, while going through the configuration wizard or the menu path Business System --> Assign Business System.
I have tried to assigned the role SAP_ALL to XIDIRUSER in order to make sure it does not come from this, and I still have the problem. Any idea ?
Thanks,
Guislain

Hi Paul,
Check the Roles for the User ?
Role - SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER
Configuration - SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR
Hope this helps,

Moorthy
