We are trying to create an workflow for approval when a GM budget document is preposted/posted. The tcode used is gm_create_budget.
The business object BUS0036 and event Preposted has been configured in SWE2. The FM used to trigger the workflow event is SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF. The event is activated in the workflow as well. However, the event is not being raised.
There is no entry in SWEL after executing the above tcode.
We also have an custom interface to create the GM Document wherein the BAPI BAPI_0036_CREATE is being used .
I found a BADI IF_EX_BAPI_0036 wherein I tried to raise the event in workflow through the FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE when the document is created using the custom interface where the BAPI is being called.. However in this BADI interface I am not getting the document number in the Create_out method after the creation of the document to trigger/create the event for workflow.
Please advice for solutions.
