File Adapter Problem.

Former Member

Hi All,

I have a csv file and File sender with Content conversion.

1. Sender adapter is picking the file and deleting the file.

2. I don't see the message in the SXMB_MONI.

3. I see the Success full process in the Adapter adapter monitoring for the sender comm channel.

4. One to one mapping, Nothing complex to go wrong here.

5. XI is working , since i have tested couple of other interfaces.

<b>How can i debug it?</b>

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi Ganges,

no need to debug yet

just have a look at the adapter monitor:

http://hostname:portnumber/MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp

and see if the integration engine is called

from there or maybe you will see some errors

for further reference have a look at my weblog

(the second part - Message Display Tool 😞

Hi ganges,

The file is deleted bcoz u have set the mode as delete in your sender comm channel...

<b>There is surely an error in the FCC parameters tht you have specified in the sender communication channel....</b>

the reason is tht...since the content in the file picked cannot be converted acc to the FCC parameters to the source message type tht you have specified...

you will get the details of tht error in the runtime worbench....in adapter monitoring section

hai ganges

if your file was picked that has not showing Runtime working nor delivered to target

then , probably the problem that the messages was blocked in QRFC queues of the integration engine

check the queue status , call the integration server and call transaction SMQR and check the status of message

thank you

HI Ganges,

If file has been picked up and in the Adapter Monitoring if you don't have any error, then check the messages in the Message Monitoring.

RWB->Message Monitoring ..

I think there will be a content conversion problem..

Hope this helps,

Are you sure, file is picked up by the File Adapter ...

Can you check the File Adapter without Content Conversion. Ie. with xml data. and check the messages in SXMB_MONI..

I thought if file is picked up, you should get the message...

If still problem is there in xml input file also, the last option is try to restart the Adapter Engine.

Hope this helps,

Moorthy,

I checked number of times. File is getting deleted.

1. I do see the file processed in adapter monitering

2. I don't see any thing in SXMB_MONI

3. I dont see any thing from RWB/Message monitering

on adapter engine or Integration engine.

Thank you

Did you check the File Adapter log for the adapter you use. Generally the log should say what errors were there when sending the message.

Since you do not see your message anywhere on the XI side I am assuming the message did not reach XI at all. Thus the errors should be in the File Adapter log...hope this helps.

Hi Ganges,

<i>3. I dont see any thing from RWB/Message monitering

on adapter engine or Integration engine.</i>

If you are not seeing anything in RWB->Message Monitoring-.Adapter Engine, then it is surprise.. Because file is picked up, but it is not Adapter Engine also....

Anyway if possible , try to restart the server...If basis person helps...

Thanks,

Moorthy
