Delivery note creation

Hi ,

We would like to create delivery notes even if we dont have stock.

Because to call haulier we need to provide the delivery note no.

Is there any way to create deliveries with out allowing negative stock.?

Hi,

Goto the DELIVERY ITEM CATEGORIES in OVLP and maintain the field CHECK QUANTITY =0 as Blank under QUANTITY tab.

Then you can create the Delivery without having the Quantity in the Plant.

But first am confused whether its (ZERO)VLP or OVLP.

Later confirmed that its 0VLP.

Hi Rajendar

First of all do the changes in 0VLP and maintain the feild CHECK QUANTITY = 0 . Secondly also check for the customer , in

CMR data->sales area data->sales tab wheather partial delivery or complete delivery has been maintained. If you have maintained Complete delivery then maintain partial delivery and then do the delivery with Zero quantity as per your requirement.

Still its not allowing more than the qty available in the stock.

Its doing partial delivery.

Hi,

Go to MM02 and give your material detail over there.

Now go to MRP3 screen and give the Total repl lead time as 1day.

By giving this you delivery date will be next day only.

Try out this method and let us know the result.

Other wise you can make changes in the copy control for the sales order to the delivery.

If you remove the availability date requirement then you will be able to create the delivery.
