Hi!
As it seems, NWDS test tool JLin does neither come with a predefined rule for checking Java standard naming conventions (Upper / Lower case aso) nor provides a comfortable way to define own rules. Compared to SAP Code Inspector, JLin to me seems a quite inferior tool.
Has anybody got an idea where to find a better solution for code analysis than this SAP standard toy?
Regards,
Thomas
Hi
I used FindBugs utility for code inspection. This is Eclipse plugin. Update Site: http://findbugs.cs.umd.edu/eclipse
However, I'm not sure it will check Java standard naming conventions. There are lot of rules in the tool and the rules are separated between prioritized categories.
